Start With Your Exact Starlink Generation
Starlink Mini, Gen 3 and earlier-generation hardware use different dimensions, connectors and mounting arrangements. Outcamp products in the current range are not universally interchangeable, so match each mount, cable, adapter or protective accessory to the exact Starlink model or generation listed on the product page.
This is especially important when combining a dish mount with a power cable or Ethernet accessory: physical fit and electrical compatibility are separate checks.
Choose the Mount for Your Surface and Setup
The current Outcamp range includes magnetic, suction, roof-rack T-slot, pole and rail, tripod, flat or bolt-down and other model-specific mounting solutions. The best choice depends on whether the installation is temporary or fixed, the material you are mounting to and whether the equipment will remain installed while the vehicle or vessel is moving.
Check the individual mount's dimensions, fastener requirements and intended use rather than selecting by appearance alone.
Magnetic Mounts Need the Right Surface
Magnetic mounts require a suitable ferrous steel surface. Aluminium, fibreglass and other non-ferrous materials will not provide the same attachment, even when the panel looks metallic from the outside. Surface shape, paint condition, contact area and debris between the magnets and surface can also affect the installation.
Do not assume a universal travel-speed rating for magnetic Starlink mounts. Only use a setup during movement when the exact product and installation are intended for that use, and follow the mount manufacturer's guidance.
Suction Mounts and Surface Preparation
Selected Outcamp suction mounts can suit smooth, non-porous surfaces where a magnetic mount is not appropriate. Clean and dry the mounting area before fitting, check that the surface is suitable for suction and inspect the attachment regularly. Curves, textured finishes, contamination and weather can affect performance.
Roof Racks, Rails, Poles and Marine Mounting
For roof-rack or rail-based installations, confirm the T-slot, rail or pole dimensions before ordering. The active range includes selected roof-rack extensions and marine-style stainless rail or pole mounts, but hardware requirements vary.
For marine use, inspect fasteners and mounting points regularly and follow the product guidance for materials, tightening and environmental exposure.
Match Starlink Power to Voltage, Connector and Current
Outcamp's active power range includes selected 12V and 24V vehicle solutions, Anderson connections, USB-C PD options, car-style outlets, dedicated power supplies and battery-platform adapters. These products solve different power-source and connector problems; they are not interchangeable by wattage alone.
Check the input voltage available in your vehicle or battery system, the output required by the Starlink hardware, connector polarity and type, current or wattage rating and cable length before connecting equipment.
Tool-Battery Adapters Are Platform-Specific
Selected Outcamp adapters support Makita, Milwaukee and DeWalt battery platforms. Match the adapter to the exact battery family it is designed for and confirm that the adapter's electrical output suits the connected Starlink equipment. Do not substitute battery platforms or connectors that are not listed as compatible.
Cable Length, Current and Voltage Drop
Longer low-voltage DC cable runs can introduce voltage drop, particularly as current demand increases. Use appropriately rated cable, connectors and circuit protection for the installation, keep connections secure and avoid damaged or undersized leads. If a setup approaches the limits of the power accessory, check the exact product guidance rather than relying on cable length alone.
USB-C PD Requires the Whole Chain to Match
A USB-C connector does not automatically mean a power source can supply the voltage and wattage required by the connected equipment. For USB-C PD setups, check the source, adapter and cable ratings together and confirm that the required PD profile is supported.
Ethernet, Couplers and Cable Entry
The current Outcamp range also includes selected Starlink Ethernet adapters, SPX-to-RJ45 connections, couplers and cable-entry glands. Connector style and generation compatibility matter, and a waterproof-style connector or gland only protects as intended when installed correctly with the suitable mating parts.

Cases are primarily for transport and storage, while installed covers or shields protect the particular component or surface they were designed around.
