Beach Soul portable showers are designed for simple rinse-offs after beach days, camping trips, road travel and other outdoor adventures. The current range centres on manually pressurised showers in 5L, 8L and 10L sizes, with Original, PRO and artwork editions plus practical rinse-off accessories.
Choose the Right Beach Soul Shower Size
Start with how much water you want to carry and how portable the shower needs to be. The current collection includes compact 5L models, mid-size 8L models and larger 10L PRO models. A larger tank gives you more water between refills, but it also becomes substantially heavier once filled.
For quick sandy-foot, pet or gear rinses, a 5L shower can be easier to carry. An 8L model gives more water without moving to the largest tank, while a 10L PRO can suit longer rinse-offs or trips where extra water capacity is useful. Check the exact dimensions and full weight before choosing where it will travel or be stored.
Original vs PRO Portable Showers
Beach Soul Original showers in the current range use a manual hand-pump system, so they do not need batteries or a power connection. Current listings include 5L and 8L versions, along with selected artwork editions based on the same portable shower format.
The current PRO range steps up to a 10L tank. Selected PRO 10L listings are described as using food-grade materials and being suitable for potable water storage, giving those specific models a dual-purpose water-storage option. Do not assume that the same drinking-water claim applies to every Beach Soul shower; check the exact product listing before using stored water for drinking.
Manual Pressure Means No Battery Is Required
Current Beach Soul shower models use a manual pump to pressurise the tank. That makes them useful where you want a self-contained rinse without relying on a rechargeable pump, vehicle socket or mains power. Pump as directed, use the showerhead to control the spray and release pressure according to the product instructions before opening or servicing the tank.
Multi-Spray Showerheads and Coiled Hoses
The current shower listings feature a 10-mode multi-spray showerhead and a coiled hose that extends to around 2.1 metres. This gives you different spray patterns for showering, rinsing feet, washing gear or cleaning up after the beach. Exact showerhead, hose and included accessory details should still be checked on the individual listing.
Using Warm or Cool Water
Current Beach Soul shower listings are designed for warm or cool water and include a removable insulated neoprene cover on selected models to help manage water temperature. Follow the temperature limits and filling instructions for the exact shower. Do not use boiling water or expose the tank to heat outside the manufacturer's guidance.
How Long Will the Water Last?
Runtime depends on tank size, spray setting, pressure and how continuously the shower is used. Current product copy gives model-specific examples, including up to around 6 minutes for a selected 8L model and up to around 11 minutes for a selected 10L PRO model. Treat these as product-specific guidance rather than a guaranteed runtime for every Beach Soul shower.
Jamigam and Livin’ the Dream Artwork Editions
Beach Soul also offers selected shower editions with removable printed sleeves. Jamigam editions feature artwork by Zachary Bennett-Brook, also known as Saltwater Dreamtime, while Livin’ the Dream editions feature artwork by muralist Steven Bordonaro. Current sleeve listings use REPREVE® recycled-polyester blend fabric, with the artwork and capacity varying by model.
If the artwork is the main reason you are choosing an edition, still compare the underlying shower capacity, weight and PRO or Original specification so the functional setup suits your trip.
Portable Shower Holder for Hands-Free Rinsing
The Beach Soul Portable Shower Holder is designed to fit Beach Soul showerheads and uses a suction mount for compatible smooth, flat surfaces such as glass, tile, metal and plastic. It is not intended for rough or porous surfaces. Check that the mounting surface is clean, smooth and suitable, and confirm the holder is secure before using it hands-free.
Bag ’n’ Mat for Wet and Sandy Gear
The current Bag ’n’ Mat combines a 50L waterproof carry bag with a removable grooved mat. It can provide a cleaner place to stand while rinsing off and then help contain wet towels, sandy gear or the shower itself for the trip home. The bag is collapsible for storage when not in use.
Beach Bag for Extra Carrying Space
The Beach Soul Beach Bag adds a larger general-purpose carry option for towels, shower gear and other day-trip essentials. The current model is listed at 42L with a cotton-polyester blend construction and front storage pocket. It is a different product from the waterproof Bag ’n’ Mat, so choose according to whether you primarily need general carrying capacity or wet-gear containment.
Consider the Full Weight, Not Just the Empty Weight
Water adds roughly one kilogram per litre before allowing for the shower itself and accessories. Beach Soul's listed full weights therefore rise significantly with capacity. Think about who will carry the shower, how far it needs to move from the vehicle and whether you can refill closer to where it will be used.
Cleaning and Storing Your Portable Shower
Drain the shower after use, rinse it as required and allow components to dry before long-term storage. Keep the showerhead, hose, seals and pressure components clean, and inspect them for wear or damage. If you have used a model approved for potable water storage, follow the manufacturer's cleaning and water-storage instructions before using it for drinking water again.
Common Beach Soul Shower Mistakes to Avoid
- Choosing capacity without considering the full weight once the tank is filled.
- Assuming every Beach Soul shower has the same potable-water suitability as selected PRO models.
- Using boiling or excessively hot water instead of following the model's temperature guidance.
- Opening a pressurised tank without following the pressure-release instructions.
- Expecting one runtime figure to apply to every tank size and spray setting.
- Mounting the suction shower holder to a rough, dirty or unsuitable surface.
- Assuming the Beach Bag is waterproof simply because the Bag ’n’ Mat is designed for wet gear.
- Choosing an artwork edition without checking whether its underlying 5L, 8L or 10L format suits the trip.
- Storing the shower wet or dirty for long periods.
- Ignoring model-specific dimensions, inclusions and care instructions.
