The Swimerz 95mm Baitfish Soft Vibe is built for exactly that — a versatile fork tail design that produces strong vibration on both the retrieve and the fall.
The technique is simple and repeatable. Drop to the bottom, raise the rod tip toward 11 o'clock, then let the lure sink back on a taut line. The fork tail kicks and pulses as it drops, and keeping the line taut means you'll feel the take and be in a position to strike immediately. Direct contact equals better hook-up rates — especially on the drop when fish take on a slack line and spit the lure before you know they're there.
At 20g, it has enough weight to cut through current and get down quickly in deeper water, while still being castable on light to medium spin gear.
