The teardrop shape is well suited to bottom fishing applications like sabiki rigs, bait jigs and standard running sinker rigs. The tapered profile casts cleanly even in a crosswind, and when it hits bottom, the design channels feedback directly to the line tie so you can feel every contact, nudge and pickup rather than guessing what's happening 5 metres below the surface.
The brass roller bearing swivel built into each sinker reduces line twist — a real benefit when fishing live or cut baits that spin in the current, or when using lightly weighted rigs where twist would quickly compromise the presentation and make your setup look unnatural.
