The Scarpa Cyclone Gore-Tex is designed to handle serious trail conditions, using a dual injection exoskeleton that reinforces the upper structure and delivers progressive flex rather than a one-size stiffness across the whole boot.
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane is the waterproofing backbone here, keeping moisture out while allowing enough breathability to manage foot temperature across a full day of hiking. Paired with the nubuck leather upper, the boot handles everything from creek crossings to exposed ridgelines without letting water in or compromising airflow.
The bi-density sole system — with a low-density PU insert for shock absorption and medium/high density rubber outsole for grip — is well-suited to Australian trail terrain where surfaces change quickly from hard-packed dirt to loose rock. Flex points in the sole allow natural forefoot movement so the boot works with your stride, not against it.
The lacing system adds another layer of customisation, with a lace lock and tongue centralisation feature so you can dial the fit precisely — a real advantage on downhill stretches where foot movement inside the boot causes most trail fatigue. Available in EU 40.
