The Dekoi LS22 Closed Eye Spinnerbait is purpose-built for those conditions. The 20gm closed-eye head keeps the lure down in the column without needing to slow your retrieve to a crawl, making it effective for burning mid-range or slow rolling right near the bottom in depths to around 10 metres.
The blade combination is doing real work here. The Colorado blade generates strong vibration that fish detect through their lateral line — useful in stained or dark water where visual cues matter less. The coated steel Willow blade adds that flicker of flash that triggers reaction strikes in clearer conditions. Both spin on brass rolling swivels that keep rotation smooth and consistent from first cast to last.
The hand tied 44-strand silicon skirt gives the lure a lifelike, breathing action on every pause and retrieve, helped along by two red bead attractors near the hook. The size 3/0 O'Shaunessy type hook is mounted on a stainless steel wire form that handles the pressure from solid hooksets and strong fish without deforming.
