Because kapok is a natural plant fibre, it contains none of the allergens associated with animal down, and no synthetic materials or chemical treatments are involved in its manufacture.
Rolled out, it provides a 180cm x 77cm sleep or lounge surface at 5cm thick — enough cushioning for a hard floor. Rolled back up, it compacts to around 77cm x 45cm and tucks away easily in a wardrobe, under a bed or in a gear storage area.
