The D-shaped design with stabilising fins is aerodynamically efficient, reducing drag and keeping riders more centred during high-speed runs. The double-stitched nylon cover and PVC bladder give you durability through regular use, and the UV-resistant and age-resistant materials mean it holds up in the sun better than cheaper alternatives. That said, the supplier recommends deflating and storing it after use and avoiding prolonged direct sunlight exposure.
Four padded grip handles give riders something solid to hold onto, while two dedicated boarding handles make it easier to climb back on after a splash — which will happen. A front traction point and drainage opening help maintain speed and control during the ride.
