Shallow water predators sit tight — bream, tailor, trevally and flathead all hunt hard in the 1–2 metre zone, and a lure that can't hold that depth is just cutting through empty water. The Finesse MK10 is built specifically for this layer, diving confidently into the strike zone and staying there on the retrieve.
The Goldback colour combines two proven attraction triggers: fright stripe patterning that mimics the behaviour of baitfish being chased by a predator, and light-refracting finishes that simulate natural scale reflections in the water column. Together they give the lure a realistic, high-stimulus profile that appeals to a wide range of inshore species.
A built-in ball bearing rattle adds a noise signature that helps fish locate the lure in low-visibility conditions, dirty water or heavy chop — situations where visual attraction alone doesn't cut it. Three size #4 treble hooks mean the lure is rigged to handle solid fish straight from the packet.
Fished on a slow roll it runs steadily in the zone; cranked on a fast burn it pushes hard for reaction strikes; worked on a twitch-and-pause it mimics a struggling baitfish hovering near structure. At 17.5g and 125mm, it's a practical size for medium spin gear and casts well in coastal and estuary conditions.
