When bass, bream or flathead are sitting hard on bottom structure — creek channels, submerged rock piles, ledges — a surface or shallow-running lure simply won't reach them. The Finesse Madbass 85mm is built specifically to solve that problem, diving down to the 3–5 metre mark on a slow troll to put your presentation right in the zone where fish are holding.
The wider, longer bib creates greater surface area and downward force, driving the lure deeper and locking in a tight, distinctive wobble. Two laterally aligned ball bearing rattles produce a high-frequency noise profile that triggers strikes even from fish that aren't actively feeding, while tungsten belly weights keep the lure running true and upright through the retrieve.
The tow point configuration and body shape are designed to work together — the result is a lure that tracks straight through current and handles contact with the bottom without spinning out. Bump it into a rock pile or drag it along a creek channel and the Madbass tends to kick and deflect in a way that genuinely imitates a baitfish in trouble.
