The Finesse Longlip Minnow splits that difference with a slow-sinking action that lets you hold the lure right where the fish are, tight to timber, pylons and weed edges without constantly ticking the bottom.
The 30mm diving bib is unusually long for a 65mm body — that's the point. It gets the lure down quickly on the retrieve and gives it a strong, wide wobble that pushes water and gets noticed. Pair that with the integrated ball bearing rattle in the tail and you've got a lure that triggers fish through both sight and sound, which matters in low visibility or when species like Mangrove Jack or Bass are holding deep in cover.
The two size #6 black nickel trebles are deliberately oversized relative to the body, which helps with hook-up rates when fish are nipping at the tail or striking short. At 7.3 grams it's light enough to cast accurately on spin or baitcast gear rigged for estuary and freshwater work.
