The Simplecom CHN421 solves both problems at once, expanding a single USB-C port into three USB-A slots and a full Gigabit Ethernet connection in one pocket-sized aluminium unit.
All three USB-A ports operate at USB 3.2 Gen1 speeds — up to 5Gbps — so connecting an external hard drive, keyboard, mouse or USB dongle won't bottleneck your workflow. The built-in RJ45 port handles wired network speeds up to 1000Mbps, which is a significant step up from Wi-Fi in offices, hotel rooms or anywhere with a patchy wireless signal.
Setup is completely plug and play — just connect to the USB-C port on your laptop or PC and everything is recognised automatically. No drivers, no external power brick required. The aluminium unibody keeps it durable and compact enough to sit in your laptop bag without taking up much space, and LED indicators let you confirm power and network connection status at a glance.
Compatible with Windows 7 and above, macOS 10.6 and above, and Chrome OS. Note: this hub is not designed to charge devices and is not compatible with iPads or devices with non-standard charging requirements. Avoid connecting more than one high-current device such as a USB hard drive or USB fan at the same time for stable operation.
