The Giantz CT-3800 is the kind of charger you want in the garage, the shed or the back of the vehicle for exactly those moments — a fully automatic 3.5A unit that works with 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries as well as 12V lithium-ion, covering the full spread of WET, MF, EFB, GEL, LIB and AGM battery types.
The eight charging modes are where this charger earns its keep. Standard 12V and 6V modes handle everyday charging, Cold/AGM modes are there for temperature-sensitive or AGM setups, and the REPAIR mode is a standout — it can bring old, sulphated or stratified lead-acid batteries back to a functional state rather than sending them straight to the bin. The auto-memory feature means it returns to your last selected mode when restarted, saving you the hassle of reconfiguring each time.
Safety is well covered: six-way protection guards against sparks, reverse polarity, short circuits, overcurrent, overcharging and overheating. Once charging is complete, the charger automatically switches to float maintenance mode so you can leave it connected without worrying about damaging the battery. The IP54-rated housing stands up to dust and splashing.
Mounting holes and self-drilling screws are included if you want to fix it to a wall in your workshop or garage, and both clamp and ring connectors are in the box so you can connect it however suits your setup best.
