The Simplecom CR402 gives you a single compact reader that connects via USB-C or USB-A, so it works with newer USB-C laptops and tablets as well as traditional USB-A ports on desktops and older machines — no adapters needed.
USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) support means transfers run at up to 5Gbps, which makes a real difference when you're moving large RAW files, 4K video footage or bulk photo libraries. Both SD and MicroSD slots are active simultaneously, and the reader supports a wide range of card formats including SDXC, UHS-I and MMC variants.
Setup is genuinely plug and play — no driver software, no installation process. Just plug it in and it shows up as a drive on Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS or Android.
