    Keeping food cold enough to last a multi-day road trip is one of the biggest practical challenges of camping and caravanning. A traditional icebox works for a day or two, but once the ice melts you're eating out of a lukewarm container. This Glacio 45L portable fridge freezer uses a genuine compressor to hold temperatures as low as -20°C, giving you reliable cold storage across long drives and extended stays off-grid.

    The unit runs on 12V, 24V or 240V, so it switches seamlessly between your vehicle's accessory socket, caravan supply and household power without adapters or rewiring. The energy-efficient 55W compressor draws just 1.32kWh per 24 hours — a relatively small load that allows you to run it overnight on a decent auxiliary battery setup with reasonable confidence.

    When you're drawing from DC power, the built-in three-stage battery protection system watches the voltage level and cuts charging once the target is reached, helping protect your vehicle or auxiliary battery from being drawn too low. The LCD panel makes it easy to dial in your preferred temperature and check the current reading at a glance.

    For everyday use on the road, the heavy-duty exterior handles knocks and rough terrain well. Dual carry handles on either side make it manageable to move between the car and camp, while four integrated cup holders on the top lid and a lockable lid add practical convenience when you're set up and want easy access to drinks without the whole lid sliding around.
