    Lead-acid batteries have long been the default for off-grid camping and caravanning, but they come with real drawbacks — heavy weight, limited usable capacity and a relatively short service life. If you're upgrading an existing setup or building a new one, a LiFePO4 lithium battery changes the equation significantly.

    The VoltX 12V 200Ah Plus uses LiFePO4 chemistry, which means you can use up to 100% of its rated 200Ah capacity without the damage concerns associated with deeply discharging a lead-acid battery. That translates directly to longer run times between charges — more hours for your fridge, lights or CPAP without worrying about what's left in the bank.

    The integrated BMS protects the battery against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and short circuit, so it manages itself in the background while you focus on the trip. LiFePO4 chemistry is also inherently more stable than other lithium types — no combustion risk, no maintenance, no acid leaks.

    With a cycle life of approximately 4000 charges and support for both series and parallel connections (up to 6 batteries), this battery suits everything from a single-battery van build to a larger scalable bank for a serious off-grid setup.
