A flat battery rarely gives you much warning — and when it strikes in the field, at a job site or in the garage, you want a charger that can handle the situation without fuss. The Giantz CT-7000 is a 7A fully automatic battery charger compatible with the full range of 12V and 24V lead-acid batteries (WET, MF, CA, EFB, GEL and AGM), plus 12V AGM+ and 12V lithium-ion batteries. One charger covers most vehicles and equipment you're likely to run across.
The 8-step automatic charging cycle takes the guesswork out of the process. The internal microprocessor manages each phase — from desulphation through to float maintenance — and automatically switches to a maintenance charge once the battery is full, so you can leave it connected without risk of overcharging. The auto-memory function also returns the charger to the last selected mode when restarted, which saves time if you're working through multiple batteries.
Nine selectable charging modes give you the flexibility to match the charger to the job. REPAIR mode is designed to recover old, idle or sulphated lead-acid batteries that might otherwise be written off. SUPPLY mode converts the charger into a stable 13.6V/5A DC power source — useful for retaining on-board computer settings when swapping a battery in a modern vehicle. COLD/AGM modes cater for batteries in lower temperatures or AGM-specific requirements.
With an IP54 housing rating, SAA and CE certification, and 6-way protection built in, it's a charger suited to both workshop use and on-the-road situations. Mounting holes and self-drilling screws are included if you want to fix it in a permanent spot, or keep it portable for roadside use.
