What are the three mounting options?

Will the magnetic mounts work on aluminium?

No. The magnetic bases require a suitable ferrous surface such as steel. Aluminium, fibreglass and most plastics are not magnetic.

What surfaces can a vacuum suction mount attach to?

Vacuum suction mounts need a clean, smooth, non-porous surface that allows the cups to form a complete seal. Dirt, texture, damage or porous materials can prevent a reliable vacuum seal.

How do I know whether the suction cups are holding properly?

The four vacuum cups include condition indicators. Check each cup before use and recheck them regularly, especially after temperature changes or when the mount has been exposed to movement or vibration.

Can I leave a Starlink Mini mount attached while travelling?

That depends on the mounting method and conditions. Temporary magnetic or vacuum suction mounts should be checked before every trip and after temperature changes, movement or vibration. For a permanent travel installation, use a mounting method designed for fixed installation where available and follow the product's installation instructions.

What does the hard cover do?

The mount includes a fitted hardtop cover designed to provide additional physical protection around the Starlink Mini while it is installed in the mount.

What is the mount made from?

The main body is made from CNC-machined HDPE with stainless-steel mounting hardware.
